As we celebrated National Volunteers week, Tony 39 celebrated his own milestone of being a Samaritans volunteer for 50 years with us, having previously volunteered for 3 years with Birmingham branch.

After recent sightings of the Aurora Borealis in the UK, and following a delay over bad weather, 31 people ventured to Pelsall to paint their own version of the Northern lights.

After reaching our original £250,000 fundraising target for Project 55 at the end of December 2024, 2025 started with some sobering news.

WE DID IT!
When we launched Project 55 just over a year ago, it felt as if we were looking at a long-term goal. Our Branch Leadership Team thought it would take a timeframe of three years or so.
