On Sunday 11th October 2026, we’ll be meeting at Walsall Arboretum to walk together and welcome the sunrise.
We're suggesting you raise a minimum of £200 to help fund our life saving services - but you can aim higher to make an even bigger difference for those at crisis. Join us raising funds for Walsall & District Samaritans so we can continue to be there for those in their darkest hours.
Join us and we walk from darkness into light at Walsall Arboretum
Gill Hamer Branch Director at Walsall & District Samaritans said: “This exciting new challenge is a great way for people to look after their own mental health, connect with other people and raise vital funds for our life-saving service that helps so many in need of support.
“Life is tough for a lot of people right now for all kinds of reasons. Our volunteers are here for anyone regardless of what they are facing, to listen to people when they feel like they have nowhere else to turn to. The funds raised from this new event will help us to continue to be there and support anyone in need of a listening ear.”
Let’s prevent suicide today. Because tomorrow’s too late.
