Why Samaritans need your support
Thousands of volunteers from all walks of life are here every day and night. Listening without judgment by phone, email, letter, online or in person. Whoever you are. Whatever your background, beliefs, faith or identity.
Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection. Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before, with those struggling now.
We make sure there’s always someone to listen if you’re in crisis or feeling suicidal. And we unite to raise awareness of people’s experiences, create partnerships and campaign for suicide prevention.
More information
Participants will be challenged to move 5K at sunrise, wherever they choose. This could be somewhere special to you, or your everyday route – it's up to you! Take on the challenge on your own or as a team, all whilst raising vital funds and awareness of Samaritans so we can make suicide prevention a priority and reach people before it’s too late.
Whether you’ve used our service before, are fundraising in memory of someone special or want to help us help others, we’d love for you to join us in our life-saving mission.
