Brew Monday 2023 - Central London Samaritans

The third Monday in January, thought to be “Blue Monday”, is being turned into Brew Monday to encourage everyone to reach out to people.

There’s always time for a cuppa and a catch-up. It doesn’t matter if it’s Monday morning or Saturday night, or if you’re drinking green tea, black coffee or orange juice. It doesn’t matter if you catch up in person, virtually or over the phone. If you’re sharing a cuppa and listening, then you’re doing it right.

Once someone starts to share how they’re feeling, it’s important to listen. This could mean not offering advice, not trying to identify what they’re going through with your own experiences and not trying to solve their problems.

Get everyone together for a cuppa (in person or virtually) and raise money for Central London Samaritans so someone having a tough time has somewhere to turn when they need to talk.
