Organising a collection at a funeral is a very special way of remembering a loved one and honouring their life with a lasting legacy by helping Samaritans continue to be there for those who need us.
Arrange an online funeral collection
An online funeral collection page can become an everlasting tribute to your loved one. An Eternal Star Tribute Fund is on online place where you, your family and friends can celebrate the life of someone special. You can share treasured memories, photos, thoughts, light virtual candles and send virtual gifts.
You will be able to set up a funeral notice on the page with details of the funeral or memorial service. You can also access a QR code so that family and friends can donate directly to your tribute page.
Arrange a funeral collection
Our collection envelopes can be given to friends and family to make it easy for them to make their own donation. These can be used at a funeral or memorial service, or to mark a special occasion or anniversary.
you can request funeral donation envelopes, which we will post to you alongside our in memory fundraising pack which contains a cardboard collection box and Samaritans branded materials to help you with your fundraising.

Many people ask friends and family for donations in lieu of flowers at funeral services. If you let your Funeral Director know, they are usually happy to help with organising this.
