Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland's largest running event boasting a picturesque route and amazing atmosphere. Run through Edinburgh with Edinburgh Castle as a stunning backdrop, with plenty of natural beauty on offer along the route. The course is fast and flat - a great route for a potential new PB or ideal if it's your first marathon. Taking place over the bank holiday weekend, you can enjoy a weekend away in Scotland's beautiful capital city while fundraising to support Samaritans services.
