Business Case Support Volunteer at Winchester Branch
Our Winchester branch is looking to develop a new sustainable form of revenue and would like a volunteer to support in developing a business case to open a charity shop either in Winchester or the surrounding area.
What's involved
Winchester Branch would like to find a volunteer experienced with charity shops or a retail environment to support with creating a business case.
You would need to have experience of developing business plans or running a business. And would assist with the development of the business case, to act as a sounding board for ideas the branch could address in running a charity shop sustainably. Ideally you would co-lead the role with the Branch Director in developing the business case and would be supported by a small team. The business case needs to make a compelling case for investment but also assess the risks involved.
The current plan is for the business case is to be presented to the Branch Leadership team ideally by the end of the year (2023).
Time Commitment
The anticipated time commitment is approx 3 days per month over a 2-3 month period.
Location
The location is flexible. Some knowledge of the Winchester area would be helpful but work can be completed remotely and meetings can be conducted online.
