Who can take part?
Anyone! Dragon Boats are crewed by teams of up to 17 people - so get together your friends, family, colleagues or club members and sign up today.
For businesses, it's the ultimate team-building day - while supporting Samaritans, a local charity that's been supporting mental health for more than 50 years.
We'll provide everything you need and train you and your team up to be champion racers!
About Dragon Boat Racing
Dragon Boats are canoe-like vessels fitted with ornately carved dragon’s heads and tails will be crewed by up to 16 people per boat, sitting in pairs.
With a drummer on each boat to keep the paddlers in unison, and a professional helmsperson in the stern to guide the boat, crews will paddle as fast as possible competing over a distance of 250m on the Navigational Canal in Winchester.
