Become a Shop Volunteer in Telford

No experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a desire to help. Volunteering in Telford at our shop, known for the friendliest staff and lowest prices, offers valuable retail and teamwork skills while fostering community spirit. Most of our volunteers do one shift a week, lasting half a day.

Hats and Other Interesting Items

Unlike other charity shops nearly all our work is done by voluteers. Charity shop volunteering with us will give you the opportunity to learn all areas of running a small shop including working on the till handling cash and card transactions, processing donations, greeting our new customers and building friendships with our regulars, creating beautiful shop window displays, and learning from our friendly experienced volunteers. No two days are the same.

Once trained you'll need to commit to doing one shift a week of three or four hours at our Telford King Street branch. If possible, 12 shifts a year will need to cover unsociable hours. There is some flexibility around people's busy lives but please be prepared to consistently find time most weeks.

We try to run several training groups a year. They all start with an informal information evening where you'll get to come to the Telford branch, meet some experienced listeners, learn more about the role, and ask any questions you have before committing to anything.
