A heartfelt event at South Parade Pier raised awareness and vital funds for Samaritans
A huge thank you to Steve Jackson for organising a fantastic music event at Portsmouth's South Parade Pier in memory of his friend, Eski.
The event brought together friends, family and the local community to celebrate Eski's life through music, while also raising funds for Samaritans of Portsmouth and East Hampshire.
We're delighted to share that £225 was raised through donations on the door, with a further £91.18 donated via our Samaritans collection buckets – a fantastic total of £316.18!
A special thank you to our volunteers Brian and Ade, who represented Samaritans throughout the event, spending time talking to members of the public about the work we do and helping to raise awareness, as well as collecting donations.
