We were delighted to hold our first AGM last night and it was wonderful that so many branch members, Sam's Place volunteers and guests came along. Our guest speaker Robert Brown from Devon and Cornwall police talked about his work as a hostage and crisis negotiator, Randall our Treasurer presented the annual accounts and we had the opportunity to thank outgoing Deputy Directors and Trustees who have been part of the Branch Leadership Team (BLT) and welcome our new Trustees. It was great to celebrate 5 years of operation of our shop Sam's Place and to thank Louise and Jo and the whole team of our shop volunteers.
We also had the opportunity to celebrate long service with certificates for several volunteers.
