Samaritans Awareness Day - July 2026
On Friday 24th July we were at Peterborough Station for Samaritans Awareness Day - engaging with station users and distributing contact information.
Also in July we had the opportunity to train LNER staff in managing suicidal contacts.
They were given an overview of the work of Samaritans and tactics to develop awareness of vulnerable station users and strategies to use when approaching and supporting people in needed.
