We need your help

Support our emergency appeal
We are all facing a uniquely challenging time at present, and the Coronavirus crisis has made many of our lives unrecognisable from how they were just a few short weeks ago.
Norwich branch has been serving its community for over 55 years, and we are continuing to do so during this difficult time. The way we do this has changed in the last few weeks and, whilst we are still answering calls and emails to support those in distress, we have had to put other activities, such as outreach, fundraising and recruitment on hold.
The health and wellbeing of our volunteers and callers are of paramount importance to us, and we will resume these activities as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then, if you are thinking of volunteering with us we would still welcome you contacting us – a member of our recruitment team will be in touch and will keep you up to date with when we are able to resume recruitment and training activities.
Until that time, if you are able, we would ask that you donate to our emergency appeal. We are working hard to ensure that we can still be there for people in crisis, however as we have had to temporarily close our shops - on Westlegate and Aylsham Road - and cancel our fundraising events, we would like to ask you for help. Your donation will help us reach those who are struggling to cope, work faster in different ways to be there and help us to recruit more volunteers.
You can use the link below to donate via Virgin Money Giving or alternatively, if you would like to donate but would prefer to send a cheque, you can make it payable to: Norwich Samaritans, c/o 19 St. Stephens Square, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 3SS.
