Leek and District branch Samaritans needs you!
We are looking for volunteers, lots of volunteers, to help us continue supporting people in their hour of need. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team with a warm and welcoming vibe. We offer great training, flexible volunteering hours, fantastic peer support and magnificent tea and biscuits.
In addition to the obvious Samaritans role of listening to people who call our service, we also need people who can help us raise funds, spread the word about Samaritans work, reach out into local community groups and do the full range of administrative tasks that help to oil the wheels and make things run smoothly.
If you are reading this and thinking to yourself "Ooh, I couldn't do that" or even if you are scrolling past thinking "They don't mean me" Yes you could! and yes we do mean you!
