Up hill and down dale as we search for hidden treasure.
On Thursday evening 9th July, Leek Samaritans took part in a fun treasure hunt as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations. in perfect weather and starting in the picturesque market place in the centre of Leek, 36 competitors gathered their clues and set out to solve a series of mysterious questions that would lead to the treasure.
The journey took them up hill and down dale and really tested the grey cells, in trying to find the hidden answers.
When all were safely gathered at "The Lazy Trout" everyone discovered where they had risen to the challenge and where they had been sneakingly misled. The winners were rewarded with a prize voucher for a meal at "The Lazy Trout".
The evening concluded with everyone sharing a lovely buffet meal and having a good laugh together.
Thank you to Pam for organising such a fun event and thank you everyone who took part.
