Our outreach team is taking awareness of Samaritans' work to the heart of local communities - one park run at a time.
On 25th April several of our dedicated volunteers laced up their trainers and took part in the Rushmoor Park Run, proudly wearing their #TeamSamaritans T-shirts. They were cheered on by fellow volunteers who lined the course, handing out leaflets to runners and spectators alike.
The event was warmly received by the Park Run community, with plenty of conversations sparked and smiles shared along the way. It was a brilliant reminder that sometimes the simplest acts - showing up, being visible, and starting a conversation - can make all the difference.
