Listening volunteer Fran's son, Sam, took part in his very first ironman on Sunday, 13th September and raised £979 for the branch on his enthuse fundraising page.
Proud mum Fran says he battled through dreadful weather which took it's toll and although he wasn't able to complete the bike section he's got plans for his next event.
