What an incredible weekend, which raised £2312 for Chester Samaritans! 🌿☀️

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers, particularly to Colin and Martin, for making their Open Garden on 25–26 July such a memorable event.
After months of intensive planning, they welcomed more than 400 visitors to their beautiful garden created with passion, generosity and hard work.
They were supported on the two days by the Chester Sams who baked delicious cakes, served refreshments, sold raffle tickets and unique homemade jam and honey.
This very special event raised an amazing £1,800 for the National Garden Scheme (who support hospice, nursing and other UK health charities), as well as an incredible £2,312 for Chester Samaritans.
A unique opportunity to showcase the work of Samaritans and the difference that volunteers make every single day, in the most beautiful setting – thank you to everyone who volunteered, visited and donated!
Our very special thank you once again to Colin and Martin for opening both their garden and their hearts to our community. 💚
