At Cheltenham and District Samaritans, we are incredibly grateful to all of our volunteers, old and new, for the time that they devote to providing our services, and supporting our callers.
Our branch director, Andy, invited some of our longest-standing volunteers into the branch for a relaxed cake and cuppa, to share experiences and to reminisce about their time in branch. Our longest-serving volunteer has been giving their time to the branch for over 50 years now.
The volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to get together to share their memories, including of offering face-to-face support in branch in the past. They are looking forward to the branch being able to return to being able to offer face-to-face support next month.
