One of our listening volunteers recently visited a local Scouts group to talk to them about the work that Samaritans does.
Our visiting volunteer enjoyed a lovely fireside chat with the Scouts group. As well as answering calls to people in distress, our outreach work forms an important part of the work that we do as a Samaritans branch. This was a great event, talking to young people about mental health, Samaritans and the services that we provide.
