Full terms and conditions for those taking part in Samaritans Awareness Day 2026 as part of the Stream for Samaritans event on Tiltify
1. This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who have launched a Tiltify fundraising campaign and signed up via the Samaritans Awareness Day 2026 event. Participants under the age of 18 may participate only with the prior consent from a parent or guardian.
2. This promotion will run from 00:01 (GMT) on 17 June 2026 until 11:59 (GMT) on 31 July 2026.
3. To receive one of our additional rewards packages after the promotion has ended, you must have signed up via the Samaritans Awareness Day 2026 event on Tiltify and have created and published a fundraising campaign while the promotion was active. The final confirmed total on the amount raised on your Tiltify fundraising page at 11.59am (GMT) on 31 July 2026 (excluding gift aid and offline donations as outlined in clause (4) below) will be used to determine which rewards package you qualify for. The thresholds for each package provided by Samaritans are as follows:
(a) £25 and above – Sunny Day Owl Pin Badge
(b) £44 and above – Starry Night Owl Pin Badge and items from (a)
(c) £171 and above – Samaritans T-Shirt and items from (a) and (b)
(d) £247 and above – Samaritans Owl Plushie and items from (a), (b) and (c)
(e) £500 and above – Samaritans Water Bottle and items from (a), (b), (c), and (d)
(f) £680 and above – Items from (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) with personalisation added to the water bottle from (e)
4. The amount raised in clause (3) excludes Gift Aid and any offline donations unless they have been submitted in accordance with the terms listed in clause (5).
5. For any offline donations to be counted towards your total, you must contact [email protected] before the promotion end date. Instructions and reference details will be provided so that these donations can be paid in and linked to your fundraiser. Any funds which are paid in without informing the team, or received after the promotion end date, cannot be linked to your fundraiser and will not be counted towards your fundraising total for the purpose of the rewards packages outlined in clause (3).
6. Final rewards packages listed in clause (3) are made to order once the promotion comes to an end. This allows the charity to order exact quantities of each item and ensure as much of the money raised as possible can go directly to supporting the cause. As a result there will be a 4-7 week wait after the promotion finishes until the items will arrive with Samaritans, ready to be sent to those who qualified for them as outlined in clause (3). We will endeavour to send all rewards as soon as possible once they arrive with us, this is provisionally expected to be by 7 September 2026 but this date is not guaranteed. Participants who qualify for rewards will be contacted via email with updates about shipping and expected arrival dates and any delays once the event ends.
7. If you are under 18 and wish to participate in the promotion you must ensure you have a parent, guardian or legally responsible adult consent for you to do so before you sign up. This can be done by confirming your acceptance of these terms and conditions via the sign up form on Tiltify. By completing the sign-up process, the parent or guardian confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. 8. Illustrations of rewards where available can be viewed here, but please be aware these and images of rewards used in advertising are artists’ renditions and prototypes of products and final products may vary from what is shown in colour, design or materials.
9. All rewards are non-exchangeable and no cash alternatives shall be offered. However, Samaritans reserves the right to replace any of the prizes with an alternative of equal or higher value at Samaritans’ discretion where necessary due to availability or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Samaritans accepts no responsibility for rewards being lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
11. By participating in this promotion and taking part in Samaritans Awareness Day 2026, you confirm that you have read and understood the advice and guidance provided by Samaritans in relation to fundraising and that you will be responsible for keeping your fundraising activities in line with the Code of Fundraising Practice which can be viewed here -https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code/using-code
12. By accepting these Terms and Conditions when signing up to this promotion you have accepted these terms in full. Samaritans reserves the right to refuse rewards to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions or where participation is deemed to be fraudulent or misleading.
13. Insofar as is permitted by law, Samaritans will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate, or accept any liability for, any damage or injury suffered by a participant as a result of completing your Samaritans Awareness Day 2026 event, except where it is caused by the negligence of Samaritans. Your statutory rights are not affected.
14. Samaritans is committed to protecting your privacy and the personal information that we hold. We will never sell your personal information, though where we work with or share your personal information with other organisations, for example for the purpose of posting your event rewards, we ensure these relationships are regulated through appropriate contractual agreements and where possible we maintain control of data shared with third parties and ensure that processing only takes place on our instruction and in line with our purposes. 16. Samaritans Awareness Day 2026 Promotion, these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim between the parties arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Samaritans reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any material changes will be communicated via the Stream for Samaritans Discord or by email where reasonably practicable.
