Full terms and conditions for those taking part in Spooked for Samaritans 2026 as part of the Stream for Samaritans event on Tiltify
1. This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who have launched a Tiltify fundraising campaign and signed up via the Spooked for Samaritans 2026 event. Those under the age of 18 can participate with consent from a parent or guardian.
2. This promotion will run from 30th September 2026 until 7th November 2026.
3. To receive one of our additional rewards packages after the promotion has ended, you must have signed up via the Spooked for Samaritans 2026 event on Tiltify and have created and published a fundraising campaign while the promotion was active. The total on the amount raised on your Tiltify fundraising page at 11.59am (GMT) on 7th November 2026 (excluding gift aid and offline donations as outlined in (4) below) will be used to determine which rewards package you qualify for. The thresholds for each package provided by Samaritans are as follows:
(a) £25 and above – Spooked for Samaritans Owl and Moon Pin Badge
(b) £44 and above – Spooked for Samaritans Owl and Pumpkin and items from (a)
(c) £171 and above – Samaritans Owl T-shirt and items from (a) and (b)
(d) £264 and above – Samaritans Owl Plushie and items from (a), (b) and (c)
(e) £500 and above – A choice of 1 item from Samaritans Wearable Blanket, Samaritans Backpack and Samaritans Water Bottle and items from (a), (b), (c), and (d)
(f)£1,000 and above – A choice of 1 item from Samaritans Wearable Blanket, Samaritans Backpack and Samaritans Water Bottle and items from (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e)
(g) £1,500 and above - A choice of 1 item from Samaritans Wearable Blanket, Samaritans Backpack and Samaritans Water Bottle and items from (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f)
4.The amount raised in (3) excludes Gift Aid and any offline donations except those which have been sent following the terms listed in (5).
5. For any offline donations to be counted towards your total, you must contact [email protected] and instructions and reference details will be provided so these donations can be paid in and linked to your fundraiser. Funds paid in without informing the team in this way cannot be linked to your fundraiser and will not be counted towards your fundraising total for the purpose of the rewards packages outlined in (3).
6. Final rewards packages listed in (3) are made to order once the promotion comes to an end. This allows the charity to order exact quantities of each item and ensure as much of the money raised can go to supporting the cause. This means that there will be a 4-7 week wait after the promotion finishes until rewards will arrive with Samaritans, ready to be sent to those who qualified for them as outlined in (3). We will endeavour to send all rewards as soon as possible once they arrive with us, this is provisionally expected to be by 11 January 2027.
7. Participants who qualify for rewards will be contacted via email after the event ends on 7th November 2026 using the email address provided at registration on Tiltify. This contact will provide each participant with a link to access the Samaritans online shop where they can place an order for their rewards free of charge. Participants may opt into or out of any rewards for which they have qualified, and they may also purchase additional items from the shop should they wish. In the event that no order is made via the online shop by a participant, Samaritans will attempt to contact the participant again via email asking them to place their order as no items can be shipped without a valid order from the online shop.
8. Samaritans will cover the cost of postage for rewards unlocked in (3) for all participants based in the UK and Ireland, though an option to allow participants to opt into covering these costs themselves will be available via the online shop. Additional charges will apply for extra items purchased via the online shop and for any participants outside the UK and Ireland.
7. If you are under 18 and wish to participate in the promotion you must ensure you have a parent, guardian or legally responsible adult consent for you to do so before you sign up. This can be done by confirming your acceptance of these terms and conditions via the sign up form on Tiltify. 9. All rewards are non-exchangeable and no cash alternatives shall be offered. However, Samaritans reserves the right to replace any of the prizes with an alternative of equal or higher value at Samaritans’ discretion.
10. Samaritans accepts no responsibility for rewards being lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
11. By participating in this promotion and taking part in, I confirm that I have read and understood the advice and guidance provided by Samaritans in relation to fundraising and that I will be responsible for keeping my fundraising activities in line with the Code of Fundraising Practice which can be viewed here -https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code/using-code
12. By accepting these Terms and Conditions when signing up to this promotion you have accepted these terms in full. Samaritans reserves the right to refuse rewards to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
13. Insofar as is permitted by law, Samaritans will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate, or accept any liability for, any damage or injury occurred as a result of completing your Spooked for Samaritans event, except where it is caused by the negligence of Samaritans. Your statutory rights are not affected.
14. Samaritans are committed to protecting your privacy and the personal information that we hold. We will never sell your personal information, though where we work with or share your personal information with other organisations, for example for the purpose of posting your event rewards, we ensure these relationships are regulated through appropriate contractual agreements and where possible we maintain control of data shared with third parties and ensure that processing only takes place on our instruction and in line with our purposes. Spooked for Samaritans 2026 Promotion, these Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim between the parties arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
17. Samaritans reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
