Why Samaritans need your support

Thanks to the dedication of more than 20,000 volunteers, Samaritans can be there for anyone, whatever they are going through and whenever they are struggling to cope. We’re also at the heart of local communities, working with schools, workplaces, railways, prisons and hospitals to offer training and support, preventing suicide and helping people turn their lives around.

About the Robin Hood Half Marathon
From the event organisers: "The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also the largest charity fundraising event in the city, raising over £330,000 for charity in 2019.
The course itself is great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike - for beginners, whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time."
