Northern Ireland

Since 1961, our volunteers have supported millions of potentially life-saving conversations with callers through our freephone phone helpline, email, face-to-face support and outreach in communities, schools, festivals and prisons.

Samaritans currently has 8 branches across Northern Ireland which are run independently by a network of volunteers.

Support is given by a small team of staff in Belfast and from the larger Samaritans Ireland team in Dublin.
