BBC Radio 4 Appeal 2026

Our wonderful Ambassador, TV and media personality Scarlett Moffatt, is supporting Samaritans with our BBC Radio 4 Appeal this week.

Through Layla's story, the Appeal shines a light on Samaritans’ vital work, ensuring there’s someone to listen 24/7 to anyone who is in crisis or feeling suicidal.

Layla shares her experience of contacting Samaritans, and how it helped her see a future for herself.
