Samaritans challenges gambling chief’s use of suicide guidance

Michael Dugher, former Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, cited Samaritans advice that ‘suicide is complex’ when questioned by MPs about the dangers of addictive gambling products.

Samaritans has written to both Mr. Dugher and Dame Caroline Dinenage MP, Chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, to set out its concerns.
