Samaritans comment on the closure of BeatBullying

Catherine Johnstone, Chief Executive of Samaritans, said:

“It’s a great shame to see the closure of BeatBullying, as this was a very important and unique service to so many vulnerable young people across the UK. There may be people feeling concerned about where to find further support at this time and we would like to remind them that Samaritans provides a safe place for anyone struggling to cope. People can talk to us in their own way, and off the record, about whatever’s getting to them. They don't have to be suicidal. Our service is available round the clock, every single day of the year by phone 116 123, email, or visit to find details of their nearest branch.“
