Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection.
Connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen. People calling for change with those who need to listen. People who’ve been there before with those struggling now.
Samaritans Awareness Day is on 24 July because we’re here to listen 24/7.
Help us raise awareness and funds to prevent suicide today. Because tomorrow could be too late.
Today and every day...
Every 10 seconds, we answer a call for help.
We’re here for people when it matters most. Every hour. Of every day. For everyone who needs us. And every life we can help to save.
Today and every day...
We unite to raise awareness of people’s experiences, create partnerships and campaign for suicide prevention.
Together, we make suicide prevention a priority and reach people before it’s too late. In every community, including yours.
Today and every day...
We need to raise money to keep our helplines open and staffed with trained, expert volunteers.
Make today the day you save a life
You could help save a life today by fundraising for Samaritans so we can keep our 24/7 helpline open and continue working to prevent suicides.
From 1-24 July, we're inviting everyone to do 24 minutes of activity every day to raise money for Samaritans. Try something new or do something you love. Maybe it’s a swim in the pool, 'keepie uppies', crafting, yoga or even a new skill. So, grab a ball or head to the pool… do whatever you love, and take part in 24/7 this July!
