Welcome to the Samaritans of Yeovil, Sherborne & District

25 The Park

Our branch has been supporting people in the local area, and nationwide, for over forty years. Volunteers come from all walks of life, with a wide age range, and spend three hours a week in our centre supporting all kinds of people who need a confidential, non-judgemental ear to listen at a tough time in their life. As well as contacting us by phone, we have email support and face to face at the centre.

We also work with a wide range of other groups in Somerset and Dorset including Cruse, Yeovil District Hospital, local Schools.

If you are interested in volunteering why not come along to an information evening? They are are on the first Wednesday of every month at 25 The Park, Yeovil at 7pm. All welcome, no need to book you can just turn up!

We are supported by a community of listening volunteers, as well as extremely valuable support volunteers who give their time to help with fundraising, publicity, IT, and committee work.
