Samaritans of Cornwall at Truro are delighted to host this year's Samaritans National Walk 2025 on Saturday 27th September 2025 along the Cornish Coastal Path.
When is the Samaritans National Walk 2025?
The route
There are the three sections you can register for to be allocated part of that route with a team.
The three sections are
North Coast - Miners Route
Walks will be allocated between Newquay and Porthcurno . This beautiful stretch of rugged Atlantic coast offer wonderful views both out to sea and inland and includes famous Cornish landmarks like Perranporth beach, St Agnes head, St Ives and ending near the famous Minack Theatre.
Mount's Bay and Lizard - The Pilgrim and Pilchard's route
Walks will be allocated between Porthcurno and Falmouth . Experience winding coastline covering the Lizard peninsula up to Falmouth including the southernmost tip of the UK and includes views St Micheals Mount, and passes Lands end finishing at the Maritime port of Falmouth.
South Coast and Roseland - The Maritime Route
Walks will be allocated between Falmouth and the river Tamar. Following the Channel coast of Cornwall, this section has walks covering beautiful villages with sailing and fishing history including St Mawes, Fowey, Mevagissy, and Charlestown.
Each area will be divided into manageable routes dependant on your requested difficulty level and covering the whole path. Each route will be walked by a team of at least three walkers with the aid of a GPS tracking system to monitor progress and safety.

We appreciate that not everyone will be able to participate in this year's National Walk.
This is a fundraising event to keep our branch open for our volunteers to continue to take calls from those who are struggling to cope emotionally and to continue our work in our local communities.
