It has been a real pleasure to spend time walking, talking and listening to David as part of his epic 6000 mile The Listening Walk around the UK visiting all 204 Samaritans branches helping to raise awareness that Samaritans are always here to listen - every hour, of every day, for every life
Today I reached our branch in Swindon (Swindon & District Samaritans) and received a lovely warm welcome. A few volunteers came out to meet me and more were waiting at the branch. We chatted away over a cuppa and a lovely lunch.
