We're incredibly proud to have served the people of Sunderland for over 40 years. We opened in 1970 and our service is needed as much today in 2016 as it was then - every year, we take over 10,000 calls from people going through tough times.

Like our callers, we're ordinary people from all walks of life. You can find us at our building on Grange Crescent, a moment's walk from Park Lane Interchange in the heart of the town.

As a branch, we're striving to make a difference in the community: we fundraise throughout the year to keep our building open, we reach out to local schools and we go into Frankland Prison to train listeners.

You can make a difference too! Come to an information session to find out about volunteering with us or make a donation towards the cost of our work.
