The Baylis Trust has supported local organisations for over 50 years. At Slough Windsor & Maidenhead Samaritans, we are once again delighted to receive their support.
A heartfelt thank you to the Louis Baylis Trust, (charitable foundation of Maidenhead Advertiser), for their kind donation this month to help us to continue to deliver our services. Our superpower is listening and during the Covid period May - September, each of the 75 active volunteers in our branch, responded to 175 cries for help. A 15% increase on the previous year, with 1 in every 3 calls mentioning coronavirus as a cause for concern. Every 7 seconds Samaritans answer a call for help. Thanks to funders, like Louis Baylis Trust, for helping us to always be there.
