Did you know that you can pop into most Samaritans branches to talk face-to-face. In Scarborough we are just three or four minutes from the railway station & close to the courthouse.

Wednesday 1st November 2017
Samaritans will welcome you to most of the 200 branches if you would like to talk to someone face-to-face in a quiet, private space. Go to Samaritans.org or the Samaritans Facebook to find your nearest branch. Here at Scarborough, you will find the opening times at the top of the page.

What happens when I visit a Samaritans branch?

Ring the door bell or knock on the door, a volunteer will welcome you into the branch, and they or another volunteer will sit down with you as soon as they are available. There is no time restriction, although if there are lots of people waiting to have time with a volunteer, you may be encouraged to come back at a less busy time of the day.

Yo don't have to give us any personal information, and that includes your real name.  Alternatively you can always ring us on Freephone 116123, twenyfour hours a day, seven days a week - Samaritans never close.
