We are looking for people who would like to help run our branch.
Our waiting list for our Listening Volunteer training courses is nearly a year long at present due to a high level of applications over the last few months. Whilst we reduce the backlog, we will not be accepting any new applications to become a Listening Volunteer. We are still keen to expand our support to callers, so we hope that you will bear with us and check our web pages again later in the year. We will announce on Twitter when we are recruiting again.
We are actively looking for Support Volunteers at present. These non listening roles are vital to the running of our branch and include administration, fundraising, publicity, marketing, attending events etc.
In addition, we are also looking for trustees to join our board to help us govern Salisbury Samaritans as an affiliated CIO. We are looking for volunteer trustees who could bring charity operations, legal, accountancy and finance, marketing, fundraising and facilities skills.
