A small act of togetherness that created moments of warmth, conversation and connection in the city centre.
On Saturday 13 December, volunteers from our Outreach and Fundraising team came together in Salisbury city centre to sing carols and share some festive cheer.
Volunteers sang carols for two hours, accompanied by the wonderfully cheerful Colin and his merry group of singers and musicians, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The event attracted families, children, shoppers and passers-by, many of whom stopped to listen or have a chat. These small conversations reminded us how important it is to connect with the community and to be visible, especially at this time of year.
Carol singing in Salisbury city centre brought people together and raised over £200 to support Samaritans work.
