The Dawn Walk 2025, held to mark World Mental Health Day, brought people together from across the area to walk side by side as the sun rose — a simple but powerful reminder of hope, connection and new beginnings.
It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces from last year, as well as plenty of new walkers joining us for the first time. The atmosphere throughout the morning was full of warmth, chatter and community spirit — exactly what the Dawn Walk is all about: showing that no one has to face difficult times alone.

After the walk, everyone gathered for a well-earned cuppa and a natter — the perfect chance to reflect on the morning, share stories, and enjoy some community spirit.
Events like this don’t just raise awareness; they also help fund the important work our branch does all year round, making sure we can be there for anyone who’s struggling to cope, day or night. Every step taken, every conversation shared, and every donation given makes a real difference.
