18 volunteers and guests met in Lothersdale for one of our occasional social events, introduced at the request of volunteers when the new Branch Leadership Team took over in April 2025.
Starting at 5pm, Andrew8 led a group of 11 up to Pinhaw Beacon, high above the village. The walkers were rewarded with panoramic views before returning by a steeper route.
Meanwhile, Lou5 led a smaller group around the village and through the surrounding fields.
Both groups returned in time for supper and restorative drinks at the Hare and Hounds at 7pm. The event was pronounced a most enjoyable evening!
