The Samaritans attended the Women's Brighton & Hove Albion football game at the Broadfield Stadium.
A new "fixture" for Horsham and Crawley Samaritans, working in conjunction with Brighton branch.
This scheme has been launched by the Premiership Football League, for awareness of suicide prevention.
The volunteers travelled to Broadfield Stadium on Sunday, to see what "goals" we could achieve, at the game between BHA v West Ham.
We were welcomed and looked after by Emma from BHA, who showed us around and provided us with hospitality passes, to enable us to get some hot drinks and food.
We had a private inside area for any face to face chats, and we were able to go pitch side to watch some of the game and take in the atmosphere.
The volunteers pitch side.
With our new tabards on, we were mistaken a few times as stewards, directing West Ham fans to the correct stand and one fan showing his ticket to Julia to enable him to get access to the fan zone!
We chatted to quite a few fans and going forward this will be an opportunity to not only connect with the football community, but also have another strong presence within Crawley.
