An amazing team of 23 of our volunteers braved the misty, chilly weather on May 16th to take on the Snowdon challenge and raise vital funds for our branch.
The group – made up of experienced Listening Volunteers, new recruits and support volunteers – raised an astounding £15,075. In preparation, they trained for the ascent by walking in lovely local areas, such as Pegsdon Hills, Barton le Clay and St Paul’s Walden.
For many it was their first time climbing Snowdon and so was even more of a significant challenge. So a resounding BRAVO to all concerned!
