Harrow Samaritans at London Pride
Volunteers from Harrow Samaritans joined colleagues from across London to take part in this year's London Pride, celebrating inclusion, connection and the importance of being there for anyone who needs someone to listen.
Reflecting on the day, volunteer Vanessa said: "It was a long day in the heat and we were exhausted at the end, but it was simultaneously energising and wonderful to be amongst so much joy and acceptance."
Joining Vanessa were fellow Harrow volunteers Conrad, Cat and Lana, along with Conrad's friend Paul and Vanessa's mum, Binali. After meeting at the Central London branch for preparations and a chance to catch up with volunteers from other branches, the group made their way into the parade, where they were met by vibrant, welcoming crowds and many people keen to share how Samaritans had touched their lives.
