Volunteering with Harrow Samaritans
16 people take their life every day in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Without volunteers in the community, we’re unable to offer them the support that we do.
We are a friendly group of people of all ages and backgrounds, you don't need qualifications or experience as training is provided, but you do need to be a good listener! We help around 20,000 people a year, talking to callers on the phone, via email, through text and in person.
You can read more about Harrow branch on our Branch History page.

Fundraising & How you can help
Our shop on Wealdstone High Street has helped fund our branch since 1983. Please do come in and browse the store for new and second hand products and we always welcome donations of clothes, books, crockery and other unwanted items. More information on our charity shop can be found here.
Fundraising can be fun and there are hundreds of activities you can get involved with, or organise, to help Harrow Samaritans.
If you’d like inspiration for fundraising, visit the page here. If you work for a local organisation and would like to make a donation or hold an event, in support of our charity, please get in touch.
