Samaritans of Farnborough host the charity tea tent at Farnham's Music in the Meadows
A team from Farnborough Samaritans was excited to join the Music in the Meadows for our 3rd year running to support this fantastic local initiative. Around 800 people came along and enjoyed live music outdoors at Farnham's weekly summer event at Gostry Meadow. Music was provided by a live band, the sun was shining and everyone had a great time.
Our Samaritans volunteers rose to the challenge again running the charity tea tent and providing a delicious selection of cakes and biscuits which were sold to raise vital funds for the branch. It was a fantastic day. We had a great day and raised over £800 of vital funds for the branch!
The summer weather didn't let us down and everyone had a great time out in lovely sunshine in the park. As a branch we love being out in the community and meeting the public.
