Volunteers Celebrate Samaritans Awareness Day
This year, Dunfermline volunteers celebrated Samaritans Awareness Day on Friday 24th July by engaging with rail passengers in Carriage Conversations. Carriage Conversations provide a great opportunity for engagement with rail passengers as a captive audience. On 24th July Samaritans volunteers were on board services along stretches of the Fife Circle rail network to converse with passengers about our service and what we do. Engaging with members of the public and rail staff provides greater opportunity to provide emotional support for those who need our support.
