Chester and District Samaritans were proud to be part of this year’s Pride celebrations, supporting the important work Pride does in our community. Our volunteers joined the colourful parade through Chester’s historic city centre, sharing the amazing experience with hundreds of people who lined the streets, and soaking up the fabulous, friendly and supportive atmosphere of the day.
We were also there in the Pride camp’s wellbeing tent, where our volunteers welcomed visitors with information and offered a listening ear for anyone who was going through a tough time and needed someone to talk to.
