Our fundraising team, the Friends of the Cheltenham Samaritans, held a quiz in the branch last night to thank our volunteers for all their work.
Listening volunteers and friends gathered together in the branch last night for an enjoyable evening of testing quiz questions. The event was organised by our dedicated fundraising team.
We welcomed a team from de Lisle Financial Planning to join us for the evening. Last year they generously chose us to be the recipient of fundraising from an epic 26-mile walk that they undertook along the South Downs Way.
We also took the opportunity to say thank you to our outgoing director, Andy, who stood down from his role at the end of March after three years in post. Our new director, Sue, thanked Andy for all of his hard work leading the branch, and presented him with gifts from the volunteers.
