Anna's mum passed away 28 years ago aged 36 and in October she would have been celebrating her 65th birthday. To mark this occasion, Anna set herself a personal challenge to walk or ride 3.5 miles every day in October 2021, which she did!
Anna also decided to take this opportunity to raise awareness of Samaritans and fundraise for Samaritans Carlisle branch, saying, "They are a fantastic local charity who help lots of people in crisis, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a great service with very special people volunteering who can help at the end of the phone if you are having problems".
