Brent Samaritans Charity Shop

We are very proud of our thriving charity shop, through which we raise much of the money Brent Samaritans needs to maintain the service we provide to our callers. We think it's one of the best little charity shops in London!

“Every time I go in, I never know what I'll come across: I've found everything from bicycle pumps to ballgowns!”

Our shop manager and his hard-working team of volunteers make the shop a really fun place to visit. We sell:

'Nearly new' clothes, including designer labels
Books, CDs and vinyl records
DVDs and videos
Electrical goods
Paintings, prints, antiques, ornaments and curios, as well as jewellery, collectables and lots more things besides.
Why not drop in? It's a bargain-hunter's paradise!

Welcome to Willesden's Aladdin's cave!

Where to find us:

Our shop is at 11 Walm Lane, Willesden Green, just two minutes walk from Willesden Green underground station.

Opening hours
Monday 10am - 5pm
Tuesday 10am - 5pm
Wednesday 10am - 7pm
Thursday 10am - 7pm
Friday 10am - 7pm
Saturday 10am - 5pm
Some Sundays 11am - 4pm (phone first to make sure we will be open)
Having a clear-out?
If so, please think of us! We love to receive donations of high-quality goods - and we make sure absolutely nothing is wasted. The items we cannot sell are sold on to another charity, which recycles anything that cannot be re-used. In 2009, we launched a new venture, selling books, DVDs and CDs online. This is now a very profitable part of the business.

Could you be a shop volunteer?
Sarah is always looking to welcome new volunteers to join her friendly and dedicated team. There are so many different things to do, from sorting goods to serving customers, operating the till and packaging books ready for the post. We're open seven days a week, so we can be very flexible in offering shifts to suit you. No special skills are required, as full training will be provided - but good-natured enthusiasm is a must!

Call 020 8830 0034 if you'd like more information.

If helping in our shop isn't for you, there are still plenty of other ways you could help us raise money for Brent Samaritans:

  • The Sainsbury's Local opposite Willesden Green tube station has again adopted our shop as its Charity of the Year. If you run a business and would be interested in forming a partnership with us, we would love to hear from you.
  • If you have IT experience or know about selling on the internet, you might be able to help us with online selling. We also need lots of help sorting and cataloguing our growing library of books donated for resale. Call 020 8830 0034 to find out more.
