Brent Samaritans provides confidential, non-judgmental emotional support, for anyone who has feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.
It can be hard to make contact with us for the first time. You might find it difficult to begin putting your feelings into words, but the volunteer taking your call won't rush you. We aren't going to judge you or tell you what to do. You can take things at your own pace, and we will listen carefully and talk through the things that are going on in your life, how you're feeling and the options you feel are open to you.
Brent Samaritans is one of the charity's 15 London branches and we've been supporting the people of Brent since 1967.
You can also contact us by email or arrange to visit and see someone face-to-face. We're here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you are looking for information about volunteering as a listener or in another capacity, please go to our volunteering page.
The Brent branch of the Samaritans is also involved in outreach work at a local prisoners’ visitors’ centre, at schools and with Network Rail.
Brent Samaritans also has a thriving charity shop at 11 Walm Lane, Willesden Green, just two minutes from Willesden Green underground station. There are many excellent bargains to be found!
