Thanks to one of our amazing listening volunteers, Bracknell Samaritans could possibly receive £1000!
Thanks to the efforts of one of our terrific listening volunteers, Bracknell Samaritans have been successful in being chosen by Legal & General Homes to be included in their Social Value charitable grant programme.
Samaritans of Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot & Districts will be one of 3 charities they support.
The programme is located at Finchwood Park, Sheerlands Road (just off Reading Road, A327), Finchampstead RG40 4QY development centre, and we have a box between October and December 2019. Visitors to Finchwood Park are encouraged to vote for their chosen charity by placing a token in one of the three individual boxes. They are clearly marked with logos and with a brief description of the charities work.
These will be counted at the end of the three-month period and a grant will be made for each charity to the value of one of the following sums, £1000 to the charity with the most tokens in the box, £600 for the 2nd and £400 for the 3rd place charity.
We would love it if as many people as possible could visit Finchwood Park and put a token in our box, and here's hoping we can get the £1000.
Please note that you do not have to listen to the sales pitch or buy a house. You can also visit as many times as you like.
